Genie TV Brand Identity Renwal

KT의 IPTV 서비스 olleh tv가 Genie TV로 리브랜딩되면서 AI 큐레이션 기술 도입, OTT · VOD · 유튜브 콘텐츠를 통합 제공하는 ‘미디어 포털’로 새롭게 정의되었습니다. 이에 따라 우리는 Genie TV의 새로운 디자인은 아랍 신화 속 램프의 정령으로 잘 알려진 ‘지니’를 재해석하는 데서 출발했습니다. 소원을 이뤄주는 램프의 지니처럼, Genie TV는 ‘AI가 원하는 콘텐츠를 찾아주고, 모든 볼거리를 한 곳에 모아주며, 언제 어디서나 즐길 수 있도록 돕는 것’을 브랜드의 세 가지 핵심 가치로 설정하였습니다. 또한, KT 내 다양한 서비스에 흩어져 있던 디자인 언어를 통합함으로써 브랜드를 일관되게 전달하고 인지도를 강화했으며, 향후 브랜드 확장을 위한 전략적 디자인 기반을 마련하였습니다.

KT’s IPTV service olleh tv was rebranded as Genie TV, redefining the platform as an AI-powered media portal that brings together OTT, VOD, and YouTube content. The new design began by reinterpreting the mythical ‘genie’ through the lens of the Genie brand. Like the genie that grants wishes, Genie TV embodies three core values: smart content discovery through AI, all-in-one access to various content, and seamless viewing anytime, anywhere. To ensure brand consistency and recognition, KT’s previously fragmented design language was unified—establishing a strategic foundation for future expansion.
